We’re looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join a growing finance team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and has experience managing a high volume of invoices. What You’ll Do- Process a high volume of vendor invoices with accuracy and efficiency
- Match purchase orders, receipts, and invoices to ensure proper documentation
- Review and verify invoice approvals and account coding
- Resolve discrepancies with vendors and internal departments in a timely, professional manner
- Prepare and process weekly check runs, ACH payments, and wire transfers
- Maintain vendor files and ensure records are up to date and audit‑ready
- Assist with month‑end closing tasks, including accruals and reconciliations
- Support audits by providing requested documentation and explanations
- Continuously look for ways to improve processes and workflow
- 2+ years of experience in accounts payable, preferably in a high‑volume environment
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Net Suite, SAP, Quick Books, etc.)
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles
- Good communication skills – both written and verbal
- A team‑player mentality, with the ability to also work independently
- Knowledge of 3‑way match process
- Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs)
Determining compensation for this role depends on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual’s skill sets, experience, and training. Salary range is provided in this posting. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company’s 401(k) retirement plan.
