Job Overview:

A Finance Accounting Professional is responsible for managing, analyzing, and reporting financial information to support effective decision-making and ensure compliance with applicable regulations and standards. This role involves preparing financial statements, performing reconciliations, supporting audits, and partnering with internal stakeholders to maintain accurate and timely financial records. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical accounting skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
  • Perform general ledger accounting, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.
  • Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
  • Analyze variances between actual results, budgets, and forecasts, and provide explanations and insights to management.
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities, including data collection, modeling, and reporting.
  • Maintain and improve internal controls over financial reporting and accounting processes.
  • Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules, documentation, and responding to auditor inquiries.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting principles, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as operations, procurement, and HR to gather financial data and resolve discrepancies.
  • Assist in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and automation within the finance function.
  • Prepare ad hoc financial analyses and reports as requested by management.
  • Maintain organized and complete financial records and documentation for reference and audit purposes.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) preferred.
  • Proven experience in accounting, finance, or a similar role, preferably in a corporate or professional services environment.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and standard accounting practices and principles.
  • Experience with general ledger systems and financial reporting tools; proficiency with common ERP or accounting software is a plus.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and solid skills in other Microsoft Office applications.
