Bookkeeper

Elite Hockey HQ is looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to manage day-to-day financial record-keeping and support the accuracy of our books as the business grows. This role is a great fit for someone who takes pride in clean, well-organized financial records and enjoys working in a fast-paced, subscription-based business.

• Record day-to-day financial transactions and maintain the general ledger
• Reconcile bank and credit card statements on a regular basis
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoicing and vendor payments
• Prepare monthly financial reports and account summaries for management review
• Track and categorize subscription revenue and related transactions
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including preparing documentation for tax filings

• 2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
• Proficiency with accounting software (such as Quick Books or similar platforms)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, including accounts payable/receivable and reconciliations
• Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and maintain confidentiality of financial data
• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Experience bookkeeping for a subscription or SaaS-based business
• Familiarity with payment processors and recurring billing systems
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
