Purpose of Position

Make an impact at the heart of a growing business college.

The Haile College of Business is looking for a detail-oriented, proactive Coordinator to keep things running smoothly behind the scenes and help our leadership team focus on what matters most — students, faculty, and community partnerships.

In this role, you’ll be the go-to person for the Dean and Associate Deans — managing operations, supporting faculty needs, coordinating events, and ensuring the College runs efficiently. Every day will look a little different, but you’ll always be right in the center of what makes the College work.

Primary Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

  • Keep the Dean’s Office organized and moving — manage calendars, prepare materials, coordinate travel, and handle communications.
  • Assist the Dean and Associate Deans with administrative elements in the Haile College of Business.
  • Support faculty hiring, onboarding, and development, including immigration and HR processes.
  • Plan and coordinate key College events — from advisory board meetings to donor receptions — in partnership with Marketing and Communications.
  • Prepare reports and materials that support accreditation and other strategic initiatives.
  • Act as a trusted point of contact for faculty, staff, students, and external partners.
  • Track and manage ongoing projects to ensure follow-through and results.
Qualifications

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree and at least two years of administrative or office management experience (higher ed experience a plus, but not required).
  • Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
  • Tech-savvy with Microsoft Office and Adobe; experience with SAP /myNKU is helpful.
  • A self-starter who enjoys problem-solving, managing details, and making things happen.

Bonus Points For

  • A master’s degree in Business or Higher Education Administration.
  • Experience supporting senior leaders or working in an academic setting.
  • Familiarity with AACSB accreditation or faculty administration.
Why Join Us

At NKU, you’ll be part of a collaborative, forward-thinking community that values initiative and creativity. The Haile College of Business is growing — and this role gives you a front‑row seat (and a real hand) in shaping that future.

This is an on-campus position located at Northern Kentucky University.
