Title: Documentation and Compliance Coordinator
Location: Richmond, VA
Compensation: $20 – $22 /per Hour
Work Type: Contract (1 Year Contract)
Work Location: On-Site
Key Responsibilities
- Manage phytosanitary certification documentation from application through final approval and filing.
- Enter and maintain shipment information in tracking spreadsheets and other operational records.
- Submit documentation through government systems and prepare paperwork for inspections.
- Coordinate USDA inspections by staging shipments and completing required forms.
- Verify shipment details, including weights, batch numbers, container numbers, and unit counts.
- Maintain organized electronic records and ensure documentation is easily retrievable.
- Update and maintain Excel spreadsheets used for shipment tracking, reporting, and compliance activities.
- Monitor multiple active shipments and follow up to ensure timely completion of all documentation requirements.
Required Skills
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Comfortable using web-based and government applications.
- Strong organizational and document management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and follow processes consistently.
