* Position Overview:

** We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Category Manager Intern to join our dynamic team and gain hands-on experience in category management. This position is based out of Menomonee Falls, WI.As a Category Manager Intern, you will support the Category Management team in optimizing product assortments, analyzing market trends, and developing strategies to drive growth within specific product categories. This internship offers a unique opportunity to work closely with experienced professionals, gain valuable industry insights, and contribute to strategic initiatives.

* Essential Functions:

**
* ** Market Analysis:
** Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences. Assist in analyzing market data to inform category strategies.
* ** Data Management:
** Collect, organize, and analyze sales data, inventory levels, and product performance metrics. Assist in generating reports and presentations for the Category Management team.
* ** Category Strategy Support:
** Assist in the development and implementation of category strategies to optimize product assortments and maximize profitability.
* ** Project Assistance:
** Participate in special projects related to category management, including new product launches, and promotional activities.
** Internship project to include:
*** Operate in a global teaming model
* Supporting current products and launching new products in a diverse product portfolio
* Actively participate in optimizing pricing and channel strategy by region to compete globally
** Diversity of thought and experiences is fundamental when imagining the unimaginable. Certain skillsets/experiences are necessary; however, others can be developed along the way.

* Required Qualifications:

**
* Education:

Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

* Skills:

Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

* Experience:

Previous internship or relevant experience in retail, marketing, or supply chain management is a plus but not required.
* Attributes:
Detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to learn. A team player with a positive attitude and a passion for category management.
