The Camp Counselor Assistant will assist camp Counselors to provide a fun,supportive and warm atmosphere where campers can improve their individual potential, gain understanding of others, experience new ideas and develop an appreciation for the environment. This position must be a good role model for campers, develop relationships with each camper within the group, promote positive group interaction, follow established procedures for maintaining camper'shealth and safety, work together with other staff to plan and schedule weekly activities, and other related duties as directed by the Head Counselor or Camp Supervisor.
Counselor Assistant's will support General/Junior counselors within their group, but are not counted towards their group's supervision ratio.
Applicants must be 15years old and entering 11 th grade prior to starting employment.
Dates of employment for Counselor Assistants in 2027 are June 21st - August 6 th .
Applicants who will be 16 years of age and entering 11 th grade should apply forthe Junior Counselor Position.
Positions are available at Hillside and Clearpool locations.
