Director of Visual Media & Production

Why The Social Bee?

The Social Bee is a strategic storytelling and marketing agency serving events, destinations, community-focused organizations, healthcare providers, nonprofits, and businesses nationwide.

We believe great stories build stronger communities. Our team values creativity, collaboration, professionalism, and a willingness to roll up our sleeves and get the job done.

No two days look the same at The Social Bee. One week you may be filming at a county fair in Florida, capturing drone footage in the mountains of West Virginia, photographing a healthcare client, creating content for a tourism destination, or helping cover a major community event.

If you're passionate about visual storytelling, enjoy creative challenges, and want to help create meaningful work that makes an impact, we'd love to hear from you.

Position Overview

The Social Bee is seeking a creative, driven, and highly organized Multimedia Production Specialist to join our growing team.

This role works directly under the Director of Visual Media & Production. It plays a key role in bringing client stories to life through photography, videography, video editing, graphic design, and digital content creation.

The ideal candidate is a strong visual storyteller who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys both creative and technical work, and understands how to create content that resonates across multiple platforms. From fairs and festivals to tourism destinations, healthcare organizations, community-focused nonprofits, and businesses, this position will help produce content that informs, inspires, and engages audiences.

This position includes travel throughout West Virginia and throughout the United States to support client projects, fairs, festivals, conferences, destination marketing initiatives, and special events. Candidates should be comfortable working in a variety of environments, including outdoor events, multi-day productions, and overnight travel.
