Job Description
* * Overview
* * The Fresno Grizzlies are looking for a creative, highly motivated, proactive, and passionate graphic designer to join the marketing department. This position will report directly to the Director of Marketing & Communications and have a primary focus on design work, with video and photo content creation also expected. To succeed in this role, applicants must have a passion for design and content creation as well as a drive to work in a fun, fast-paced environment.

This position pays $17.40 to $20.00 per hour. This role is initially part-time, with the potential for full-time depending on business needs and individual performance.
** Job Duties
*** Work directly with the Director of Marketing & Communications on overall design direction and content curation for the organization’s marketing efforts.
* Serve as the organization’s primary graphic designer across all platforms.
* Design and produce digital and printed content, including but not limited to: graphics, flyers, motion graphics, in-game slides, and overall branding.
* Shoot and edit short-form video content, primarily Reel and Tik Tok style content, for the organization’s social media accounts.
* Photography and video capture at select home games, events, and staged shoots as assigned.
* Work closely with the Marketing & Community Relations Coordinator and the Media Relations Manager to deliver content needs across departments.
* Assist in all advertising efforts
* Other duties as assigned.
** Requirements
* ** Proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
* Working knowledge of InDesign, Lightroom, After Effects, and Premiere Pro, or the ability to learn quickly. Additional photo and video editing tools are a plus
* Must submit a portfolio of design work in accordance with the instructions below
* Must be proactive and a self-starter
* Knowledge of current social and digital media trends and specifications
* Ability to interpret and utilize brand standards
* Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
* Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
* Must be at least 18 years old
* Must have strong communication skills
* Must be reliable and exhibit a commitment to meeting both the work schedule and job requirements.
