Hiring Dental Assistants in Los Angeles, CA (Zip: 90012)!
Pay: $30/hr.
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4 PM, 40 hours weekly
Responsibilities:
Assist the Dental Officer in various dental specialty sections, including restorative, oral surgery, and periodontics.
Prepare instruments, pass materials, and assist in procedures like suctioning and tissue retraction.
Manage dental equipment, sterilize instruments, and maintain infection control.
Perform dental prophylaxis, patient charting, radiographs, and apply medications.
Handle patient education, records management, and scheduling.
Assist with dental emergencies and fabricate/repair dental prostheses.
Qualifications:
Formal training as a Dental Assistant with a minimum of 2 years of documented experience, or current Dental Assistant certification.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Ability to provide documentation verifying education, training, certification, and experience.
