Plymouth Meeting Family Dental is seeking a skilled Oral Surgeon to provide in-office surgical care, including extractions, wisdom teeth removal, implants, and related procedures. The Oral Surgeon will collaborate with our general dentists to develop treatment plans, ensure safe anesthesia and sedation practices, and deliver compassionate, patient-centered care. Responsibilities include thorough consultations, accurate diagnoses, detailed documentation, and clear communication with patients and families.

- Perform surgical extractions, wisdom teeth removal, implants, and related oral surgery procedures
- Conduct comprehensive exams, imaging reviews, and surgical treatment planning
- Administer local anesthesia and coordinate sedation with appropriate safety protocols
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment options, and post-operative care
- Maintain accurate clinical notes, records, and documentation
- Collaborate with general dentists and clinical team to coordinate comprehensive care
- Ensure adherence to infection control, OSHA, and clinical safety standards
- Participate in case reviews and contribute to continuous quality improvement
- Oral and maxillofacial surgery
- Surgical extractions and wisdom teeth removal
- Dental implant placement
- Anesthesia and sedation management coordination
- Cone beam CT and dental imaging interpretation
- Suturing and soft tissue management
- Infection control and OSHA compliance
- Electronic dental records documentation

- Completed CODA-accredited oral and maxillofacial surgery residency
- Active Pennsylvania dental license in good standing
