Matrix Providers is seeking two full-time Diagnostic Radiologists for an anticipated opportunity providing on-site diagnostic radiology services to Veterans at the Orlando VA Healthcare System in Orlando, Florida
.
We are pre-recruiting for this opportunity. Employment is contingent upon Matrix Providers being awarded the contract and completion of all required VA credentialing, privileging, and onboarding approvals.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.
-4:30 p.m., with a 30-minute lunch
Coverage: No federal-holiday work, on-call duty, or overtime

Subspecialty Opportunities
We welcome candidates qualified in neuroradiology, body imaging, or musculoskeletal (MSK) imaging
. The two physicians must collectively cover any two of these three subspecialties
. Acceptable combinations include:
Neuroradiology and MSK imaging
Neuroradiology and body imaging
MSK imaging and body imaging
Responsibilities
Provide on-site diagnostic radiology interpretation within the physician’s subspecialty expertise and approved clinical privileges.
Prepare accurate, timely imaging reports and maintain required clinical documentation.
Communicate urgent and significant findings to referring providers according to facility procedures.
Consult with referring clinicians regarding imaging findings and appropriate diagnostic imaging.
Meet the annual productivity requirement of 9,000 work Relative Value Units (wRVUs) per physician
.
Follow applicable VA policies, clinical quality standards, and patient safety requirements.
Maintain required licensure, qualifications, and clinical privileges throughout the assignment.
Requirements
Based on the preliminary contract requirements, candidates must have:
Board certification or board eligibility in Diagnostic Radiology.
At least three consecutive years of qualifying Diagnostic Radiologist experience within the last four years.
Subspecialty qualifications in neuroradiology, body imaging, or MSK imaging appropriate to the assigned role.
A current, unrestricted medical license meeting VA requirements.
Availability to work full-time, on-site in Orlando during the specified schedule.
Ability to meet the annual workload requirement of 9,000 wRVUs.
Ability to complete and receive approval for VA credentialing and privileging before beginning services.
Final qualifications, including any fellowship training, life-support certifications, and additional screening requirements, will be confirmed against the solicitation.
