* Key Roles and Responsibilities:

*** Evaluate patients to determine if radiation is appropriate, review imaging/lab data, and determine the tumor stage.
* Perform physical examinations, review medical histories, and interpret diagnostic tests (like CT, MRI, PET scans) to determine if a patient is a candidate for radiation therapy.
* Treatment planning using sophisticated software to design personalized treatment plans.
* Use advanced software to plan dosage, angle and techniques (e.g. IGRT, IMRT, proton therapy, etc.)
* Oversee the safe delivery of treatment by radiation therapists, dosimetrists, and physicists.
* Manage side effects and monitor patient progress during and after treatment, often working closely with medical oncologists and surgeons.
* Participate in clinical research and guide complex care teams.
* Collaborate to assure integrated care.

Doctor of Medicine
** Work Experience**:
* 2 years of Radiation Oncology experience
* Experience in in treating cancer and benign diseases i.e. design, prescribe and oversee tailored treatment plans.
