Reporting to the Vice Provost of Graduate Education, Research and Outreach, the Director of Graduate Education is responsible for program management and enrollment management related to 24 Masters and 3 Doctoral programs.

The Director will manage the graduate admissions process and recruitment of graduate students; manage the CRM (SLATE) system for a smooth admissions process; design communication plans for enrollment and retention of students; plan, design and implement marketing/advertising plans for recruiting new graduate students; work with individual graduate program directors to ensure student and program success; represent graduate programs on university committees;

oversee thesis and dissertation processes to assure university regulations have been followed; regularly prepare and disseminate reports on application and enrollment numbers for graduate program directors and the Vice Provost. Serve as an ex-officio member of Graduate Council; produce Graduate Catalog; serve as ombudsperson for graduate students; serve as member of enrollment management committees; direct all matters related to distance and online compliance;

coordinate graduate online enrollment operations; update office materials such as applications and brochures; and produce ad hoc statistical analyses on topics of importance to the graduate community. The Director will also have fiscal and personnel management responsibilities.

Master’s Degree required, PhD preferred. Minimum of 4 years of experience working with Graduate Programs required. Experience with enrollment management and degree marketing is a plus. Any candidate offered this position is required to go through a pre-employment criminal background check as mandated by state law.
