Direct Care - PM
Direct Care Staff will provide spiritual leadership and encouragement to residents while also continually supervising THRIVE students. Supervise at night & assist students with online education & TC Curriculum when applicable. full-time position.
RequirementsQualifications
- She shall be a person of spiritual maturity, amiable to the Assemblies of God doctrine, and in full agreement with the ATCOT mission statement
- Complete the Effective Biblical Counseling course or an equivalent course
- Knowledge of Christian discipleship and mentor relationships
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ideally credentialed as aminister or pursuing credentials in the AG or doctrinally similar fellowship
- 30 hours of training in childcare or related field (Provided by THRIVE annual in-service)
- Maintain First Aid and CPR certification (Certification training provided by THRIVE)
- A background check and pastoral reference is required
- College degree or work experience equivalence
- At least 1 year full time ministry experience
- A good driving record
- The Direct Care staff is responsible to the Campus Coordinator and Director
She will primarily serve as aminister to students in the THRIVE program.
her responsibilities include but not be limited to:
- Engage in religious instruction
- Work with other departments to comply with all TCUSA, Cognia & Texas DFPS regulations
- Participate in campus eventsand chapels as required
- Supervision (following staff check off list responsibilities), mentoring, and interacting with residents during various activities, which may include but is not limited to online school, TC Curriculum, work periods, free time, and recreational activities
- Administer discipline as is necessary according to THRIVE policies
- Minister to students as opportunity arises and/or during scheduled sessions
- Become a mentor to students
- All other duties as assigned by Director
