The successful candidate will join a department dedicated to providing services responsive to the students it serves.

Provide coordination and counseling of a comprehensive adult education program at Clovis Community College and off-site community locations. The Adult Education Coordinator will be responsible to:

• Coordinate and conduct outreach and matriculation services to local adult schools and community agencies, including facilitating workshops, and other onboarding activities;
• Assist students in career exploration related to educational goals, developing student education plans (SEPs), and selection of courses;
• Collaborate with area adult schools, community partners, and the State Center Adult Education Consortium ( SCAEC ) to develop programs and services that increase student transfers from identified organizations;
• Collaborate with instructional and counseling faculty and staff from other departments and programs, including Financial Aid, Admissions and Records, EOPS / CARE , DSP &S, CalWORKs, Puente, IDILE , SYMBAA , USEAA ,…
