Kenyon-Wanamingo Middle Schools has anopening for a full-time (1.0 FTE) long term substitute Special Education Teacher effective December 1, 2026 through April 19, 2027. This position requires a teacher who enjoys working closely with other teachers, social workers, paraprofessionals, and administrators in a team friendly environment. A quality teacher in this position can manage student behavior utilizing proactive, positive interventions, and ensure due process rights of students.

Requirements:
Must hold a valid Minnesota teaching license. Special Education licensure preferred. Compensation:
In accordance with the Teacher Master Agreement

Salary Schedules for each employee group are detailed in each master agreement found on the website .mn.us under menu/district/employee contracts.

Teacher

In accordance with the Teacher Master Agreement found on the website .mn.us under menu/district/employee contracts. Salary range for for is $45,932 (BA, Step
1) to $83,299 (MA+30, Step 15) based on experience and education. View the Step/Lane Schedule in the KWEA Teacher Master Agreement. Long Term Sub positions are paid at BA, Step 1 level for factoring rate per day. BA, Step 1 = Annual Salary of $45,932 or $255.18 per day. EOE
