The Van Wert Campus is growing, and Northwest State Community College (NSCC) is looking for talented educators to grow with us! We are building a reliable team of passionate, qualified part-time faculty to teach in-person, college-level courses here in Van Wert. Whether you are an industry expert or an experienced academic, we have opportunities across our four core divisions:
Communications, English & Humanities, Business & Public Services, Nursing & Allied Health, and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering Tech, and Math). Minimum Qualifications & Requirements
Because our programs are highly specialized,
educational and professional requirements vary by academic division
:
- Arts & Sciences / Business & Public Services
- Master’s degree in a related field.
- Minimum of 18 graduate credit hours completed in the specific course discipline.
- Nursing & Allied Health
- Bachelor’s degree in a related area is required (
Master’s degree is highly preferred
). - Relevant professional work experience.
- Active, unencumbered professional license (if applicable to the field).
- Bachelor’s degree in a related area is required (
- STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering Tech, & Math)
- Associate’s degree in a related discipline,
OR - A verified combination of relevant education, professional experience, and training totaling a minimum of 5 years
