FACULTY VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENTThe Lucille and Jay Chazanoff School of Business of the College of Staten Island of the City University of New York invites applicants for a position as a Lecturer or Doctoral Lecturer in Management, beginning in the Fall semester of 2027. We seek candidates with outstanding teaching skills and commitments to serving the institution and its community. Primary responsibilities include graduate and undergraduate teaching and mentoring in Management subjects.
Further responsibilities include committee and department assignments such as administration, supervision, and other functions. Specialization in Healthcare Management is of particular interest, but candidates with expertise in other aspects of management or entrepreneurship will also be considered.
PhD degree in area(s) of experience or equivalent (Doctoral Lecturer rank);
Bachelor’s degree in area(s) of experience or equivalent (for Lecturer rank). Also required are the ability to teach successfully and to cooperate with others for the good of the institution.
Preferred qualifications include an earned PhD or equivalent in Management or another appropriate area (for Doctoral Lecturer rank); knowledge of software applications relevant to the industry; and industry and teaching experience.
COMPENSATION$87,149-$98,638 (Lecturer)
$98,291-$100,899 (Doctoral Lecturer)
