We provide after-school academic support, small-group classes, 1-to-1 tutoring, AP subject support, test preparation, and college planning. Our team works closely with students and families to provide structured, personalized academic support in a professional and supportive learning environment.##

Position Overview Premier Academy Walnut is looking for a part-time AP Physics Teacher to provide personalized 1-to-1 instruction for high school students. Students may need support with their current AP Physics coursework, assignments, quizzes, tests, problem-solving, concept review, and AP exam preparation. Curriculum and instructional resources are provided. Topics may vary depending on the student's AP Physics course, and instructors should only be assigned courses and topics they are qualified to teach.##

Responsibilities
* Support students with AP Physics coursework, homework, quizzes, and tests
* Cover mechanics, forces, energy, momentum, and rotational motion
* Teach electricity, circuits, and waves
* Cover other AP Physics topics depending on the student's course
* Prepare students for AP-style multiple-choice questions and FRQs
* Support AP exam preparation
* Develop students' problem-solving skills
* Identify student weaknesses and provide targeted instruction## Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree or higher
* Strong knowledge of the AP Physics curriculum
* AP Physics teaching or tutoring experience##

Preferred Qualifications
* Degree in Physics, Engineering, Mathematics, Science Education, or a related field
* AP Physics teaching or tutoring experience strongly preferred
* School or school-district experience preferred
* Familiarity with the College Board AP Physics curriculum
* Strong ability to explain quantitative concepts
* Reliable availability## Schedule & Availability This is a part-time position. Teaching hours are based on student enrollment, subject demand, and instructor availability. AP subject schedules generally depend on 1-to-1 student demand. Weekday afternoon/evening and weekend availability is preferred.##
