About This Opportunity
Johns Hopkins offers at least two postdoctoral fellowships in Moral and Political Economy for scholars working across economics, history, political science, public policy, sociology and related fields. Applications close on 6 November 2026 at 11:59 PM Eastern Standard Time.
This fellowship is designed for scholars whose work connects normative, historical and institutional questions in moral and political economy. Fellows join an interdisciplinary intellectual community spanning economics, history, political science, public policy and sociology. The appointment combines protected research time with teaching and student engagement: fellows teach seminars, advise students and participate in programme activities while developing their own scholarship. The initial appointment is two years with the possibility of a third year, and the programme provides research and moving support in addition to salary.
The fellowship is intended for scholars who will have the PhD in hand before the appointment begins.
