- Develop and teach Business Analytics, Machine Learning, Operations Management, Information Systems, or other related courses at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. The expected teaching load is three courses (professor of practice) or four courses (lecturer) per semester.
- Perform research activities, as per academic rank (publishing peer-reviewed papers, presenting at conferences, etc.), to maintain the AACSB scholarly active requirements.
- Help establish industry connections and create opportunities for student and faculty interactions.
- Organize student clubs and other extracurricular activities (mentoring students’ internships, case competitions, etc.) in operations and analytics.
- Participate in the administrative and committee assignments (e.g., assurance of learning and AACSB accreditation, organizing research seminars, etc.) and contribute to the SBU community.
