• Skilled at meeting corporate and state educational goals and requirements for educational program
• Provides for educational needs including individualized lesson plans which are based on age, diagnosis, and population of students.
• Liaison with county Board of Education to handle all issues related to student enrollment, transfer of grades and state testing.
• RPH representative for Corporate Education including developing annual education plan, providing Best in Class reports and other required corporate information.
• Provides educational progress reports to the treatment team, parents/guardians, and school systems as needed.
• Capable of utilizing crisis intervention skills to support the patient and to maintain safety.
• Schedules and mentors RPH teachers to ensure county educational standards are provided within the PRTF programs.
• Capable of providing patient safety initiatives such as performing observation rounds, incident management, and management of high-risk precautions.
• Accurately documents on the treatment plan illustrating patient progress or need for additional education, problem or intervention identification.
• Schedules and leads quarterly meetings with teachers to appropriately plan for PRTF educational services.

• Good communication skills, both verbal and written. Must be able to read, write and speak the English language.
  5. Ability to effectively present information in one-to-one and small group situations to patients, families, treatment providers, and other employees.
