* Position Summary:

** The Thayer School of Education at Wingate University is seeking applicants to a fill part-time, adjunct teaching position in the area below.  This part-time position will be primarily asynchronous online with some live evening Zoom instruction.
* ** Integrating Global Social Studies and the Humanities*
* ** Duties/Responsibilities**:
* Prepare
** graduate students
** in teacher education programs to become effective practitioners and researchers in the field of education by teaching and modeling current evidence-based practices
* Provide students with clear, timely, and specific communication and feedback
* Hold regular, predictable virtual office hours
* Alignment with University mission, vision, and strategic roadmap
* Other job duties/responsibilities may be assigned

* Minimum Requirements:

** Ideal candidates will have a master’s degree or higher in a related discipline **(History/Social Studies)
** as well as both K-12 and college teaching experience.

Experience with Canvas learning management system  and content development tools such as Zoom, Snagit, Camtasia and other e-learning tools is preferred.
