What
you
will do:

  • Schedule and dispatch qualified field technicians for generator startups, commissioning, testing, and related service work.
  • Confirm jobsite readiness before scheduling, including equipment installation, electrical connections, fuel supply, batteries, and safe site access.
  • Review work orders, project scope, equipment specifications, startup checklists, and manufacturer requirements for completeness and accuracy.
  • Coordinate startup dates and site requirements with customers, contractors, project managers, and field service technicians.
  • Ensure technicians receive complete job packages, including site contacts, model and serial numbers, and special instructions.
  • Track parts, tools, testing equipment, and other materials required for each assignment; accelerate shortages or scheduling risks promptly.
  • Monitor daily field activity, adjust schedules as priorities change, and communicate delays or conflicts to affected parties.

What
you
will bring:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or technical training in electrical, mechanical, power-generation, or business operations preferred.
  • Two or more years of experience in service coordination, dispatch, project coordination, power generation, or preferred related field.
  • Knowledge of standby generators, automatic transfer switches, electrical systems, fuel systems, and startup or commissioning processes preferred.
  • Experience using service-management, dispatch, customer relationship management, or enterprise resource planning software.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Ability to read work orders, equipment schedules, and technical documents.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment

Physical Requirements and Work Environment

  • The ability to sit for much of the assigned shift while using phones, and computers.
  • This job is preformed primarily in office environments.

- This is a non-exempt (hourly) position with a pay range of $21/hr - $25/hr rate paid will be dependent upon applicable experience.
