The Boiler Operator will be responsible for the operation, maintenance and repair of the high-pressure boiler system, emission controls, and biomass fuel feel mechanisms to ensure they run smoothly and adhere to safety standards.
The Boiler Operator position is crucial to the functionality of the production line and requires vigilance and problem-solving skills to monitor and adjust various systems, troubleshoot issues, and implement preventative and regular maintenance plans.
The responsibilities of the Boiler Operator include, but are not limited to:
- Operate and maintain high pressure boiler.
- Monitor boiler and associated equipment for performance and function.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify and address maintenance needs.
- Respond to emergencies and malfunctions immediately and work quickly to correct the problems safely and effectively.
- Perform general water treatment activities in relation to boiler operations
- Adhere to all plant safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operation of the facility.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures.
- Train additional plant personnel on boiler operations as may be directed
- All other related duties as may be assigned
- Other tasks not mentioned above as required.
- Promote, execute and adhere to the company's safety program
- Attend daily and weekly safety meetings and inspections.
- Work in a safe, responsible manner to not intentionally or unintentionally injure oneself, or endanger the wellbeing of others
