Project Engineer – CSA

We are looking for a capable, innovative, and enthusiastic engineer to join our team and grow with us. The Project Engineer – CSA will be based at our Calvert City site in Kentucky.
What you will do:The Project Engineer – CSA will provide civil, structural, and architectural engineering expertise and project management services for capital projects.
- Project Management:
Develop project scope, schedule, and budget; manage contractors; monitor progress; prepare reports. - Engineering:
Design and review civil/structural/architectural systems; ensure compliance with codes; coordinate with other disciplines; manage and coordinate construction activities. - Compliance & Safety:
Secure permits; enforce IMS and safety standards; represent WACKER with authorities. - Continuous Improvement:
Apply value engineering; drive cost and quality improvements; compile as‑built documentation. - Other tasks and duties as assigned to support the engineering.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or Construction Management; 15+ years’ experience may be considered. Master’s degree or PE License preferred.
- 5+ years of relevant industrial experience; 15+ years of experience in field may be considered.
Required:
- Strong understanding of engineering principles, relevant codes, and construction practices.
- Knowledge of construction procedures, technologies, safety practices, quality control, and coordination of trades.
- Ability to perform in a schedule- and cost-driven environment.
- Able to deal with changing priorities and scope development & expansion.
- Strong civil, structural & architectural engineering knowledge.
- Strong construction/installation related skills.
- Strong construction and project management best practices.
- Strong coordination and leadership skills.
