Salary Range: $75,000 - $114,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and improve manufacturing tooling, dies, jigs, and fixtures.
- Oversee the maintenance, repair, and modification of all production tooling.
- Diagnose and resolve complex tooling issues, implementing corrective and preventive actions.
- Optimize tooling performance, lifespan, and cost-efficiency through continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, design, and quality teams to ensure tooling meets production requirements.
- Select and specify appropriate materials and manufacturing processes for tooling.
- Manage tooling projects from concept through implementation and validation.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 3+ years of experience in tooling design, development, or maintenance in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficient in CAD/CAM software (e.g., Solid Works, AutoCAD, Mastercam) for tool design and simulation.
- Strong understanding of various manufacturing processes such as machining, stamping, injection molding, or casting.
- Knowledge of tooling materials, heat treatment, GD&T, and DFM principles.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex tooling-related production issues.
- Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) or mold flow simulation software.
- Knowledge of Additive Manufacturing (3D printing) applications for tooling.
- Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certification.
