We are seeking a Senior Global Manufacturing Test Engineer to join the SYLUX team. The role will begin with an on-site assignment at our California R&D location, where the engineer will work closely with R&D to develop, industrialize, and validate manufacturing test solutions for infrared imaging cameras used in ADAS applications. Following the initial assignment, the role will assume global technical ownership of deployed manufacturing test systems and their lifecycle, including standardization, software updates, test improvements, troubleshooting, sustaining support, and production-line changes across global manufacturing sites.

Responsible for developing, industrializing, validating, deploying, and sustaining software for optical testing, calibration, active alignment, functional testing, and environmental/burn-in testing of camera products in high-volume manufacturing. Acts as the technical bridge between R&D, Site Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, equipment suppliers, and global production sites. Translates R&D test methods, algorithms, and prototype tools into robust, maintainable, production-ready solutions that meet requirements for test coverage, reliability, cycle time, traceability, and global scalability.

Provide global technical ownership of manufacturing test software & hardware architecture, standards, release practices, and lifecycle while partnering with R&D on product and test-method requirements. Own the manufacturing implementation, correlation, production robustness, controlled release, and sustaining support of these solutions.

• Partner with R&D to develop and mature test methods and translate prototype algorithms/tools into HVM-ready test solutions.
• Architect, develop, validate, deploy, and sustain standardized manufacturing test, calibration, and active-alignment software platforms globally.
• Define production test requirements including test sequence, coverage, pass/fail logic, test limits, configuration control, data collection, diagnostics, error handling, cycle time, and traceability.
