We are seeking a motivated Engineer (EIT) to join our Geotechnical and Construction Materials Testing (CMT) team. This role is ideal for an early-career engineer looking to build hands‑on experience in geotechnical investigations, laboratory testing, and construction material testing & quality assurance, while working toward PE licensure under the mentorship of senior staff. You will support field exploration, field testing, lab testing & analysis, and proposal/fee and report preparation for a variety of public and private sector projects, including highway, municipal, utilities and commercial developments projects.

• Assist with planning and execution of geotechnical field investigations, including soil borings, sampling, and in‑situ testing
• Perform materials testing and QA/QC for soils, concrete, asphalt, and aggregate on active construction projects.
• Coordinate with drilling crews, technicians, and construction personnel to ensure project schedules and quality standards are met
• Log and classify soil and rock samples in accordance with ASTM/AASHTO standards
• Oversee typical geotechnical laboratory testing and conduct advanced Geotechnical laboratory testing
• Analyze field and lab data to support geotechnical engineering recommendations
• Assist in preparing geotechnical data and engineering reports, and construction observation reports under the direction of a licensed PE
• Support design tasks for foundation, retaining structures, earth work and pavement as directed
• Maintain accurate field documentation, daily reports, and testing records
