Job Description The Mechanical Engineer designs and develops drivetrain components and leads engineering projects through production. Daily work includes stress analysis, finite element analysis, tolerance stack-ups, testing, validation, and continuous improvement. The engineer documents designs, calculations, and test results and works with machinists and technicians on manufacturability and assembly.

ATI requires 3D computer-aided design proficiency, with Autodesk Inventor preferred. The role also requires knowledge of fatigue and stress-life prediction, tolerance analysis, materials science, metallurgy, heat treatment, and surface coatings.

Experience with CNC machining, welding, precision assembly, and precision measurement is part of the stated qualification profile.## Experience And Qualifications The position requires a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and 5 to 10 years of product-development experience.
