The Gaming Attendant is responsible for safeguarding gaming assets while delivering outstanding customer service with a heavy emphasis on processing jackpot payouts quickly and accurately. This position plays a key role in creating a fun, engaging gaming experience by assisting guests, supporting marketing promotions, and ensuring compliance with all gaming regulations.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities- Provide a fun, engaging, and welcoming gaming experience for guests.
- Conduct yourself in a manner that reflects positively on the property and encourages the same from others.
- Provide change to customers promptly and accurately.
- Witness and verify gaming jackpots.
- Perform jackpot payouts and paper fills.
- Make minor repairs to gaming equipment as needed.
- Monitor assigned gaming areas for illegal activity, suspicious behavior, or policy violations, and report findings promptly.
- Be comfortable working in smoking areas for extended periods.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills And Abilities
- Maintaining a professional working relationship among all personnel.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Willingness to assume overall responsibility relative to the performance of the position.
- Must be able to work an alternate schedule with a minimum of two (2) weeks’ notice.
- 1 year of customer service experience required; prior gaming experience preferred.
- Able to obtain and maintain a valid Kentucky gaming/racing license.

The employee is required to circulate throughout the assigned areas, including the smoking area, actively observing players and the functioning of machines.
