* ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

* * Ensures that inquiries and requests are addressed in a friendly and responsive manner.
* Anticipates the needs of patients, guests, and visitors and takes proactive measures to ensure their satisfaction.
* Demonstrates knowledge of department locations and directs guests using facility maps or other aids to appropriate locations.
* Responds immediately to guest inquiries.
* Provides proactively patient and guest comfort and emotional support as needed.
* Surveys lobby and surrounding area ensuring it is inviting and that visitors are being assisted as they enter.
* Utilizes service recovery skills as appropriate in problem solving situations.
* Promptly and courteously answers phones and provides clerical and administrative services as needed.
* Collaborates with security personnel on a continuous basis to provide a hospitable, welcoming and safe environment.
* Maintains awareness of current visitor restrictions and screens visitors appropriately. Greets governmental surveyors and notifies Director and Manager of Governmental Affairs of their presence.
* Checks mail twice a week and routes patient mail appropriately.
* Presents a professional image at all times.
* Maintains a moderate noise level.
* Maintains a neat and orderly front desk for a positive first impression.
* Adheres to wearing appropriate attire and maintenance.  ##
