Job Description Summary

The North America Finance Leader for the Grid Systems Integration (GSI) BL within Electrification Systems of GE Vernova will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations, strategic financial planning, and ensuring financial compliance for the rapidly growing region. This role requires a strategic leader with a deep understanding of financial management, business and commercial strategy, and the ability to drive growth and profitability.

• Develop and implement regional financial strategies aligned with the global GSI business objectives.
• Prepare and manage regional budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
• Analyze financial performance and provide insights to drive business decisions.

• Oversee all financial operations within the region, including accounting, financial reporting, and commercial finance.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with local and international GAAP.
• Manage cash flow and working capital to optimize financial performance.

• Collaborate with regional business leaders to provide financial guidance and support for strategic initiatives.
• Act as a business partner to drive operational efficiency and cost management.
• Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support business decisions.

• Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations and standards.
• Identify and mitigate financial risks within the region.
• Implement internal controls to safeguard company assets.

• Lead, mentor, and develop the regional finance team.
• Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the finance function.
• Attract, retain, and develop top finance talent.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including regional business units, global finance team, and external partners.
• Represent the finance function in regional leadership meetings and discussions.

• Education:
  
  Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive financial leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a senior finance role.
• Experience in a multinational corporation with regional responsibilities is highly desirable.
• Proven experience in the GSI or related industry is a plus.
• Strong financial acumen and strategic thinking abilities.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Proficiency in financial systems and tools (e.g., ERP systems, financial modeling).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
