Summer Analyst - Corporate and Leveraged Finance - Fund Solutions Group North America

Crédit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank ( CACIB ) is the corporate and investment banking arm of the Crédit Agricole Group. Based in New York, CACIB's Corporate and Leveraged Finance Group ( CLF ) is a global business encompassing expertise in Financing Solutions for Funds, Corporate Debt Origination, Acquisition Finance & Advisory, Leveraged Finance and TMT Finance. Fund Solutions Group for North America (FSG NA) is dedicated to provide Asset Managers and Financial Sponsors with integrated and tailored financing solutions, covering all funds financing needs including, but not limited to: sublines, equity bridges, Hybrid / NAV, bridge to bridge facilities, management company facilities.

FSG NA is seeking a motivated undergraduate student with relevant education and a strong interest in financial services. The team provides a full array of financing solutions for sponsors and asset manager clients, as well as for selected limited partners. The team originates, structures and executes a wide range of products, in various investment sectors (or asset classes).

The intern will provide support to both junior and senior bankers through portfolio management (ongoing daily tasks including internal reporting, note taking, tracking of emails, etc.), assisting in financial and credit analysis, including the review and analysis of fund documents, conducting market research, and providing general support across various projects and working streams.

The role offers an opportunity to become an integral part of Credit Agricole's CLF FSG franchise and assist in all aspects of deal execution. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong work ethic and initiative, open-mindedness and a knack to learn, excellent analytical and communication skills, superior organizational ability, and the capacity to work under pressure with tight timelines.

An understanding of banking and capital markets is a plus. The position offers exposure across various groups/platforms across the bank and the opportunity to participate in interesting and innovative financing solutions along the private capital structure, executed from beginning to end.

Assist FSG NA team members and management in the day-to-day tasks and responsibilities of the department, with a focus on origination, structure and execution and portfolio management. The ideal candidate should have great organizational skills to be able to manage multiple deals and working streams in order to meet tight deadlines.
