** Build your foundation for a career in credit and commercial banking. During Associated Bank’s five-month Credit Analyst Program, you’ll combine hands-on experience with dedicated training, projects and opportunities to learn from experienced colleagues across the organization. Join Associated Bank as a
** 2027 Credit Analyst Trainee - Commercial Real Estate (CRE)**, where you’ll support the Commercial Real Estate team through financial analysis, cash flow analysis, annual reviews, credit presentations, and portfolio management activities. You'll partner closely with Relationship Managers, Portfolio Managers, mentors, and market leaders while supporting commercial real estate transactions across multiple markets. Participants gain the skills and experience needed to pursue future opportunities within portfolio management, commercial banking, credit, and other commercial banking functions.

** Key Accountabilities
*** Learn and understand Associated's credit approach and underwriting process, as well as spread and analyze financial data.
* Begin to conduct the analysis and underwriting of existing and new credit transactions, in preparation to monitor and manage a loan portfolio.
* Learn and understand Associated's lending cycle and the wide range of banking products we provide to our customers and prospective customers.
* Prepare to help companies analyze their capital structure and financial needs in order to help develop and recommend financial solutions.
* Understand Associated's value proposition and the benefit of relationship banking.
** Education & Experience
**** Required
* ** Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
** Preferred
* ** Successful internship experience with other banks or financial institutions
* Demonstrated customer service and relationship-building skills
* Experience with or exposure to financial and credit analysis concepts
* Financial analysis and cash flow analysis experience
* Credit analysis skills
* Strong analytical thinking
