** Director of Underwriting

** How You Will Contribute:*
* * Underwrite contract surety bonds - assessing risk acceptability
* Manage daily bid and final bond requests, ensuring timely and accurate processing
* Review new contract bond/account submissions for completeness and compliance with our policies
* Oversee the fiscal status of accounts, including in-depth analysis of annual accounting audits and internal financial statements
* Build and enhance agency relationships — schedule regular meetings with established surety companies, visit accounts, and actively identify and secure new surety partnerships
* Drive premium production growth by leveraging strong market knowledge and a proactive, client-focused approach
* As Director this person oversee/managed internal underwriters along with training/development of these employees
** Pay Range** -  Annual
