# 2027 Summer Internship Program Los Angeles, CA - Los Angeles, CA 90071## Overview Level Entry Position  Type Internship## Description Double Line  is an investment management firm and registered investment advisor located in downtown Los Angeles, with AUM of over $95 billion as of June 30, 2026. The Internship program provides an introduction to the universe of Fixed Income. Specifically, it will involve working with both the risk management and investment management teams.

A reasonable goal by the end of the internship is to gain knowledge into portfolio and security analyses, including conducting basic risk analysis for portfolios and strategies, collaborating with investment teams to monitor sector trends and other ad-hoc research projects. There will be an emphasis on fundamental and quantitative economic analysis.

** Job Functions
* Gain an understanding of the Asset Management industry
* Acquire knowledge, understanding, and analysis abilities across investment landscape
* Provide day-to-day workflow support to Analysts
* Support the broader risk management team in monitoring firm risk
* Gain exposure to the investment management team by supporting them throughout the portfolio management process
* Conduct ad-hoc portfolio and security analysis## Qualifications
* Must be actively enrolled in an undergraduate program and pursuing a degree in business administration, economics, or related field.
* Interest/experience in the investment management business
* Minimum GPA of 3.5
* Anticipated 2028 graduation date preferred
* Familiarity with Python or R is a plus
* Experience using generative AI or AI-assisted tools for coding, research, data analysis, or other work in professional or academic settings is preferred.
* Self-motivated, with strong attention to detail and excellent work ethic
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to work effectively both individually and as a team Hourly Rate of Pay The rate of pay for this position is $25 per hour, with eligibility for overtime pay.
