Barber

Join the finest team of barbers in Richardson Razorz Barbershop opened in 2010 and has stayed local and independent ever since, with classic cuts and fades as staples. The shop’s here today because word got around. Friends and family sent people here because the shop delivers superb cuts, and it’s a nice place to relax—exactly what a neighborhood barbershop should be.

Here’s what we can offer you:

A built-in client base.

Good pay.

Flexible hours so you can live your life.

A relaxed, professional shop with good people.

On-the-job training to improve your skills.

So, what kind of barber are we looking for?

We’re looking for a barber who wants to be the best across the board and likes to have a good time. That’s all we’re asking for. In return, you get to work in a top-notch shop with competitive pay and cool people.

Let’s start with six questions. An easy “yes” to all six means you’re pretty well set-up for this gig.

Do I have a barber’s license from an accredited school or program?

Can I produce a clean fade of any and every description?

Do I have the taste and technique to do right by a client who knows exactly what he wants?

Am I ready to learn?

Can I show up on time?

Is my profession my passion?

Good barbering practices that we like to see:

Keep your workspace clean and organized, like a professional, and nothing too special.

Take time to get beard grooming, cuts, and fades done how the client likes them done.

Treat clients like they’re famous: “Hey, I need this type of fade.” No problem.
