Caregiver, Healthcare Nursing, Home Health Aide

• We are seeking a In-Home Caregiver in the Frenchburg and Mount Sterling areas.

You will provide routine care assistance to clients in their home or in a care facility. We offer flexible schedules for all of our caregivers, part-time, full-time, days, nights or weekends.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor's appointments, walks etc.)
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
• Help clients complete physical therapy and other recommended exercises
• Do the client's shopping or accompany them when they shop if needed
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can't complete on their own, including preparing meals
• Report information about conditions and treatment plans
• Report any unusual incidents to nurses, doctors and family members and directors
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

REQUIREMENTS

• Previous caregiver experience preferred but not required
• Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards
• Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints
• Must be respectful and compassionate with a good bedside manner
• Outstanding communication, time management and interpersonal skills
• Physical endurance to complete required tasks
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Reliable transportation and car insurance
• Pass drug screen and federal background check
