- Associate Level License (LPA, LPCA, CSW, AMFT): $55,000 – $70,000
- Independent Level License (LPP, LPCC, LCSW, LMFT): $65,000 – $75,000
The Outpatient Therapist provides clinical services to individuals and families experiencing behavioral, emotional, or mental health challenges. This role includes conducting assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and delivering evidence‑based therapeutic interventions in an outpatient setting. The therapist collaborates with a multidisciplinary team and maintains accurate documentation to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
Preferred CandidatesHistory of working with individuals impacted by Substance Use Disorders (SUD).
Educational Requirements- Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or Nursing (required)
- Must hold or be in the process of obtaining licensure (e.g., LPA, LPCA, CSW, AMFT, LPP, LPCC, LCSW, LMFT)
- Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing Accreditation from the American Nurses Credentialing Center is preferred but not required
- Must comply with all supervision and continuing education requirements of the respective licensing board
- Maintain an active caseload of clients and ensure consistent delivery of outpatient therapy services
- Complete all required clinical documentation in a timely and accurate manner, including:
- Diagnostic Screening Assessment
- Health Assessment (initial and annual)
- Bio-Psychosocial Assessment (initial and annual)
- Treatment Plan and Service Plan Reviews
- Continuing Care Plans and Termination Summaries
- Participate in staff meetings, case conferences, clinical supervision, and interdisciplinary consultations
- Collaborate with internal staff and external providers to coordinate care and referrals
- Ensure services adhere to ethical standards, regulatory guidelines, and organizational policies
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of clinical practices and therapeutic techniques
- Preferred:
History of working with individuals diagnosed with Substance Use Disorders (SUD) - Experience in a behavioral health setting
- Strong ability to build rapport with diverse populations
- Proficient in clinical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning
- Competent in using electronic health records (EHR) and other digital tools
- Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
