Credentials: High School diploma or GED with one year of full-time experience working with individuals who receive services for treatment of a behavioral health disorder . Must have valid driver’s license with 3 years driving experience.

Special skills: Conscientious, Dependable, Good computer skills, Works well with other staff, Good communication skills. Ability to work within an interdisciplinary team, ability to work independently, and good time management skills.

Primary functions:

• Teaching skills to adults with Serious Mental Illness including daily living activities, crisis coping, emotional regulation, and medication side effects.
• Document activities with clients in the electronic medical record.
• Complete all assigned work in a timely manner including required continuing education courses.
• Assist individuals to live with maximum independence in the community.
• Assist individuals to take medications, monitor symptoms, and monitor side effects of medication.
• Teach individuals skills for living in the community, budgeting money, and keeping the home safe and clean.
• Assist clients with transportation to appointment
