Job Description

American Traveler seeks a Physical Therapist with at least 2 years of acute inpatient experience to cover inpatient acute care and skilled nursing facility settings.

• Work in inpatient acute care and skilled nursing facility (SNF) settings
• Day shift from 07:00 to 15:30
• 13-week assignment with a weekly rotation of 36 hours one week and 48 hours the next
• Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility to be considered
• Will float between inpatient acute care and SNF as needed
• Orientation is provided bi-weekly
• No local candidates are accepted due to the 100-mile radius rule
• Travel pairs are not permitted except in rare unit-specific circumstances
• Must have no gaps in work history for consideration

• Minimum 2 years of recent inpatient physical therapy experience in an acute care setting
• Active Kentucky or compact state PT license required if applicable
• Current BLS certification required (AHA only)
• Copy of driver’s license required
• Two professional references required
