Description:

Under the supervision of a medical provider, assists with performing patient assessments and treatments. Performs basic diagnostic procedures and specimen collection. Monitors and communicates changes in patient condition. Documents patient care given. Maintains equipment and medical supplies, including reordering, stocking, cleaning, and troubleshooting. Maintains examination areas. Performs administrative or clerical duties as assigned, including filing, reception, scheduling, data entry, phone triage and patient registration.

• Assist with patient assessments and treatments under supervision of a medical provider.
• Perform basic diagnostic procedures and specimen collection.
• Monitor and communicate changes in patient condition; document patient care.
• Maintain equipment, medical supplies, and examination areas (reordering, stocking, cleaning, troubleshooting).
• Perform administrative or clerical duties as assigned (filing, reception, scheduling, data entry, phone triage, patient registration).
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients and teammates.

• Minimum Education
  :
  High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current Certification in Medical Assisting from an accredited program.
• Current Certification in Phlebotomy and EKG, if CCMA.
• Required Skills:
  
  Critical thinking, attention to detail, decisive judgment; ability to work with minimal supervision; ability to work in a stressful environment; flexibility with work location assignments.
• Certifications:
  
  Basic Life Support (BLS); one of the following: CCMA, CMA.
