Job Description:

You will work in an outpatient setting with a varying client caseload (averaging 12) to:

• Provide bio psychosocial treatment plans for new intaked clients
• Coordinate with clinical and administrative staff to ensure that quality services to clients, families, and referral sources are provided.
• Provide treatment planning, coordination and collaboration with outside providers, clear discharge planning, and staffing with medical and psychiatric care, when appropriate.
• Represent Wis Hope as part of the team at trainings, meetings, and other community events.
• Provide various outpatient SUD and Mental Health services.
• Conduct intakes and monitor individual, group, and family therapies.
• Develop service plans and conduct reviews as needed throughout the duration of treatment.
• Provide SUD and Mental Health assessments, counseling, referrals, and intervention services.
• Complete and maintain documentation according to federal and state guidelines.
• Complete any additional tasks needed to provide quality services to clients.
• Coordinate with clinical and administrative staff to ensure that quality services to clients, families, and referral sources are provided.
• Participate in annual cultural competency and diversity training and seeking safety training and are beyond qualified to care for those we serve.

Compensation: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year

Wis Hope Recovery Center was founded in 2016 by Peter Brunzelle. Peter is Wis Hope Recovery’s Executive Director and serves on the Waukesha County Heroin Task Force Board. He also serves as president of the Wisconsin Association of Sober Housing (WASH), a nonprofit organization that establishes standards and quality assurance in recovery housing and affiliates for the state of Wisconsin. He is also a person in long-term recovery.

Wis Hope Recovery Center (WRC) was founded because of the gap in integrated substance use and mental health treatment services available in Wisconsin. There wasn’t a place where one could go for treatment that supported multiple pathways to recovery. If you needed support for psychiatric medication, medicated-assisted treatment, or were dealing with co-occurring disorders you were not accepted at most treatment centers.

It really was a one size fits all approach across the state. This is why I created WRC. Not only do we support all pathways to recovery, but we integrate family programming into our treatment approach. We understand that including loved ones in one’s recovery journey from the start is critical as this allows for consistency and enhanced healing. When clients leave our program, they’ve already worked hard to repair and improve their support systems, which makes it easier for them to rebuild their lives when they are ready to move onto the next chapter.
