Night Shift (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | 36 hours/week | Every other weekend
Job Summary
The Registered Nurse (RN) – Telemetry is responsible for delivering safe, high-quality, patient- and family-centered care to adult patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring. The RN assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams and supervising licensed and non-licensed staff to achieve optimal clinical and quality outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and reassessments based on clinical condition
- Develop, implement, and revise individualized plans of care in collaboration with patients and care teams
- Monitor, evaluate, and document patient responses to clinical interventions
- Provide patient and family education during hospitalization and at discharge
- Delegate tasks and provide guidance to licensed and non-licensed staff
- Participate in quality improvement, safety initiatives, and evidence-based practice
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and professional nursing standards
Qualifications
Required:
- Active RN License (Kentucky)
- Minimum 2 years of acute care inpatient RN experience
- BLS and NIHSS certifications
- Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree (ASN)
Preferred:
- Telemetry or cardiac care experience
