• Deliver core Medical Assistant curriculum across classroom and lab instruction
• Lead hands-on clinical skills labs, ensuring every student gets real practice time and real feedback
• Coordinate with the Phlebotomy, EKG/Cardiography, and Medical Billing & Coding instructors so the MA curriculum builds coherently across concentrations
• Track and support student mastery toward the program's 80% competency benchmark
• Help maintain program quality in line with FGLM's IBHE application and future accreditation standards

• A genuine teacher's instinct - able to explain a clinical concept three different ways until it clicks
• Comfortable running a hands-on lab environment safely and patiently
• Views the MA program as a bridge - many students will go on to nursing, medicine, or other health careers, and this role sets that foundation
• Collaborative with the rest of the VTI instructional and student support team

• Current credential as a Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), or equivalent
• Clinical teaching or precepting experience preferred
• Comfortable with competency-based, self-paced instructional models
• CPR/First Aid/BLS certification
