We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team at Hanford Post Physical Therapy & Wellness Center in Toms River, New Jersey. Work

Environment

This position operates onsite at our bustling outpatient office, where you will work alongside a collaborative team of two physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant (PTA). Our office is equipped with the latest rehabilitation technologies, offering a dynamic setting that fosters professional development and enhanced patient care. The standard work schedule for this role is Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify individual needs and establish tailored treatment plans.
  • Manage an efficient caseload of one patient per hour while providing high-quality care and individualized attention.
  • Develop and implement diverse treatment strategies, including therapeutic exercises, modalities, and manual therapy techniques.
  • Encourage patient motivation and adherence to treatment plans to enhance recovery outcomes.
  • Monitor and document patient progress consistently, using electronic medical record (EMR) systems, such as WebPT, to maintain accurate patient histories.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and their families to explain treatment goals and expected outcomes.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize overall patient care and treatment approaches.
  • Conduct research and stay informed about emerging practices in physical therapy to ensure the delivery of evidence-based care.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on patients with orthopedic conditions, many of whom have private medical insurance. You will work with a diverse demographic, including athletes, post-operative patients, and individuals recovering from injuries. Each patient presents unique challenges and goals, and your role will be pivotal in facilitating their journey to recovery.

Qualifications
  • A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
  • Active and clean licensure as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
  • No history of board actions or disciplinary measures against your license.
  • Demonstrated skill in manual therapy techniques and exercise program development.
  • Strong proficiency in using electronic medical record software, especially EMR platforms like WebPT.
Preferred Experience
  • Previous experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
  • Aptitude for developing integrated fitness and wellness programs tailored to individual patient needs.
  • Experience in engaging with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient care and outcomes.
Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this role ranges from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, reflective of experience and qualifications.
