Rehabilitation Physical Therapist - Onsite Position

Our rehabilitation center operates within a skilled nursing facility, where you will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including occupational therapists, speech therapists, and nursing staff. This dynamic setting allows for comprehensive patient care, where communication and collaboration are at the forefront. Our facility is designed to maximize patient comfort and recovery, equipped with state-of-the-art rehabilitation technology and resources.

• Evaluate and assess up to 7 patients daily, utilizing clinical skills to understand each patient's functional limitations and potential for improvement.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on comprehensive assessments, ensuring that goals are tailored to each patient's unique circumstances and aspirations.
• Implement a range of therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and modalities, to enhance mobility, strength, and overall functional abilities.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care and holistic treatment approaches.
• Educate patients and their families on exercise regimens and wellness strategies to support home exercise programs and overall health post-discharge.
• Stay current with rehabilitation best practices and contribute to team meetings and training sessions.

The patients you will work with at Echo Rehabilitation Center come from diverse backgrounds and are experiencing a variety of conditions, including post-operative recovery, stroke rehabilitation, and chronic pain management. Your role will directly impact their recovery journey, ensuring they receive the evidence-based care needed to regain independence and improve their quality of life.

• Active New York State Physical Therapist License is required.
• Bachelor's or higher degree in Physical Therapy (MSPT or DPT).
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a rehabilitation or skilled nursing setting is mandatory.

• Experience working within a skilled nursing facility or with geriatric patients is highly valued.
• Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems for patient documentation and treatment planning.

Echo Rehabilitation Center offers a competitive salary range of $100,000 – $120,000 per annum, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
