** RADIOLOGY TECHNOLOGIST, NUCLEAR MEDICINE 2**.

** WORK SCHEDULE**   - 100% FTE; 40 HOURS PER WEEK  - DAY SHIFT

** DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION
** Advanced diagnostic imaging, specialized clinical expertise. Radiology Services at Harborview Medical Center offers a full complement of radiology tests and imaging procedures, including nuclear medicine and interventional radiology (angiography).

** PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES*
* * Reports to the department supervisor and receives general direction from the supervisor and assigned Nuclear Medicine Lead.
* Perform complex clinical diagnostic examinations such as lymphoscintography, treadmill cardiac perfusion, and pharmacologic stress cardiac perfusion, and provide expertise to support nuclear medicine clinical services.
* Tailors examinations to individual patient in collaboration with physician.
* Under general direction, exercise advanced technical knowledge in a specific area of expertise such as clinical computer application or examination protocol development in the field of nuclear medicine, and provide work direction to others in area of expertise.  
** REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS*
* * Certified by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board or registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Nuclear Medicine AND two years of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist I.
* Equivalent education and/or experience may substitute for minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license, certification, and/or registration.
